Most of the songs that I release are although new recordings are songs that I wrote many years ago and have never been released. I love those songs and put a lot of energy into recording and releasing. I don’t focus on writing new songs as I have literally hundreds of songs yet to be released, but last weekend a new song came to me out of a dream and I had to record it, I was surprised that my wife even liked it, she can be very fickle but she loved it much so she wanted me to get it released ASAP. I had a problem with the title, so many songs called Vision, so I extended it to Something I Got To Do. Just to make it easier to find in a search. The songs lyrics reflect where I am today, on a one way track, past is past and I move forward, but on my journey, there is one thing that I could never trade, which is my love for my wife. A vision of what I want maybe a dream, but it is what has brought me down this road.

In my journey I have made mistakes,
lots of wrong turns, plans gone up in flames
and I sometimes think of what I can’t undo

like a punch drunk boxer, I try to clear my head

I’m feeling tired, I’ve been on this road
my eyes are blury, yet I’ve far to go

yeah I could rest a while,  but this is something I got to do.
