I wrote this song when I was 21, so many things have changed in this time, especially the recording approach. The original was synth heavy very much in the style of Phil Collins “In The Air Tonight” and I love that version but this version takes the song back to the acoustic guitar, with a little bit of slide and lead courtesy of my friend Mark Shipton. I hope that you give it a listen and more importantly like it.
Ooh, baby, I like the way your lipstick shines
Ooh, baby, by the end of the night you’ll be mine
By the look in your eyes I can see that you want it too
Ooh, baby, just something I need
Ooh, baby, I ain’t so hard to please
You see, honey, I like what I see
And by the look in your eyes I can see that you want it too
Ooh, baby, you’re just something that I need
You’re just something that I need
We’re all alone, all alone, just you and I
All alone, hey, come on, here I am
Come on
Come on
Come on
Come on
Come on
By the look in your eyes
Well, I can see that you want it too
Ooh, baby, you’re just something that I need
Yeah, baby, you’re just something that I need
Mmm, baby, you’re just something that I need
