The song “Sarah” was the third song that I wrote. It is a simple love song that displays and innocence I no longer feel I have. I cannot imagine that I could write a song like this today, it has almost a feeling it could have been played at Woodstock. The song didn’t fit with what was happening in the 80s and it took 12 years until I got around to recording it.
Verse 1
I’ve never known a girl like you,
the things you do amaze me still.
What secrets do you keep
behind those eyes of misty blue?
Chorus
Oh Sarah, I love you
and I guess I always will.
Well the world has stopped revolving
since the day that I met you.
I love you.
Verse 2
When we’re alone, all alone
the world outside it fades from view.
Well what do I care about the world
as long as there is me and you.
Chorus
Oh Sarah, I love you
and I guess I always will.
Well the world has stopped revolving
since the day that I met you.
I love you.

John- I really enjoyed this song in it’s entirety. The soft strumming guitar and sweet melody. Full of feeling and beautiful lyric.

Perfect sound, great lyrics, One of those unforgetable tunes, I can’t get out of my head.
Good arrangement, undoutably one of the best love songs I’ve ever heard.
