I see people here in England getting passionate about how England is in the wrong for invading Iraq, having troops in Afghanistan and some of these people seem to support become terrorists themselves in what they see as a justified cause. Now I personally feel that our troops should not be in these countries, but at the same time I also believe that injustices that were going on needed to stop, it is all a matter of how it is achieved. People who state that they are in the right to murder people in the name of their God, should stop to think if their God wanted people to die God, Allah or whatever could do this very easily.

I realise that this is a difficult topic and one that I don’t pretend to have the solution for however saying that I think that the world would be a better place for a little more tolerance, a lot more love and compassion. I see love as good and hate as evil, so for those who spout hate, well you can can see where I am going with this.

But let me leave you with this one thought… Surely a person who knowingly donates money that fund the murder of innocence is just as guilty as the perpetrator?

Murder is murder before any God and I feel this song is just as relevant today as when it was written. To quote John Lennon “All We Ae Saying Is Give Peace A Chance”

Verse One
The streets run read with blood,
and the people shy away.
“we don’t want to get involved”
I hear them say.
The bombs & the bullets,
blow the innocent away.
“no one here in innocent,
someone must pay.”

Chorus
That’s the way the money goes,
it pays for bombs instead of clothes.
Don’t give the terrorist your money or your love!
Kids he murders with no regret,
tell me has he your respect?
Have you no shame? Have you no shame?

Verse Two
I don’t want to take no sides,
what’s black is black,
and what’s white is white.
Murder is murder,
before any God.
Try to find solutions,
try to find some sense,
How much pain can we take,
before we break?

Chorus
That’s the way the money goes,
it pays for bombs instead of clothes.
Don’t give the terrorist your money or your love!
He murders children with no regret,
tell me has he your respect?
Have you no shame? Have you no shame?

Mid
The money pours in from around the world,
from the misinformed and misguided.
there don’t seem away out that I can see.
All I see is death, and people blown apart.
There is no justice and the world just turns.
