It is funny how you write a song about what you see about someone else and how time passes, only to discover that those same faults or traits were in yourself.
This is a very Beatles type song and I hear a lot of elements of John Lennon in it, although it wasn’t by intention. When I wrote this song The Beatles were one of my main influences so I guess shouldn’t be suprising.
Verse 1
Hey, hey superstar,
without your friends you won’t get so far.
Don’t get so high you can’t find your way down.
If you don’t turn around this might be the end.
Verse 2
You’re too sure of yourself, you’re too close to the edge
and the way you’re going you’ll never get back.
You’ve changed so much in the time that I’ve known you.
and if you don’t turn around, this miht be the end.
Chorus
Why can’t you see reason?
You’re not on your own you in the team.
Change your ways before its too late!
Come down to earth before you fall.
Come down to earth before you fall.
Verse 3
Hey, hey you push too hard,
Its a fragile world that is falling apart.
When you walk out ahead, why don’t you look to the ground.
Maybe you should turn around, this might be the end.
Chorus
Why can’t you see reason?
You’re not on your own you in the team.
Change your ways before its too late!
Come down to earth before you fall.
Come down to earth before you fall.
Chorus
Why can’t you see reason?
You’re not on your own you in the team.
Change your ways before its too late!
Come down to earth before you fall.
Come down to earth before you fall.
Come down to earth before you fall.
Come down to earth before you fall.

Great fucking intro John! Very Lennonesque vocals! Interesting Guitar work and a punchy chorus.
